Great product of shampoo and conditioner bars, but no need for metal packaging and too expensive

I really liked this shampoo bar. My husband actually straight up LOVED this particular rosemary bar. Loved it. It works better on his dark, wavy, smoother hair than on my gingery frizzy wiry mop (as do most products.) It cleaned well and smelled nice, and didn't leave weird residue to clean up around the shower tiles. I really appreciated that the smell was unisex and not crazy perfumed or florally sweet to where my husband would be put off using it.However, I would only buy more if the price was reasonable. My biggest issue is the giant price hikes. $8-12 is fine, since theres a reduction in packaging and a huge reduction in weight and whatnot for manufacturing and shipping a small, solid shampoo bar than a big 1 litre bottle of liquid. $15- 20 - 25- 30!!! dollars for a shampoo bar is just highway robbery. The whole entire point of a solid hair bar was to eliminate the need for all the bottles and dispensers and pumps and wasteful packaging and extra liquid and stabilizers and weight that inflates prices and is bad for the environment.I'm not going to pay companies a huge premium for a small product for no reason. No one has money for that these days. And the metal tin was ridiculous and wasteful for an environmentally friendly product. Ship it in a small cardboard box like all other shampoo bars, and also help keep the cost more reasonable by not having gimmicky packaging. The tin also rusted like crazy. Deeply unappealing, unsafe, and was tossed into the bin right away.

Stripped hair of moisture but definitely left it feeling clean

I like having bars like this for travel as it makes things convenient and they last for quite sometime. I have 4a/b hair so I tend to stray away from anything that strips my hair or leaves it feeling too dry, surprisingly this doesn't. It isn't as good as some of the liquid conditioners that I have in terms of how soft and moisturized it left my hair feeling but in a pinch, it worked well. It does take some getting used to, and it felt as if I was lathering it up for too long just to get enough to coat my thick hair. Plus it is a little awkward to use because I wasn't fully comfortable rubbing something so hard against my hair while its in a fragile condition. What I didn't like was how stripped my hair felt when I used it, but it did a great job clarifying my scalp and hair so I may just use it for this.

Very moisturizing!

This is the most moisturizing shampoo bar I've used! I only use bar shampoo and conditioner. This bar really lathers up easily but also has a very noticeable creamy texture to clean and protect my hair. The scent is amazingly light and fresh and very energizing! I smell the lemon more than the rosemary or lavender. The tin container is nice for traveling.Highly recommend!

Smells lovely

PROS+ Smells nice+ Cleans deeply and effectively+ No harmful chemicals+ Vegan+ NaturalCONS- Needs to be used in conjunction with a conditioner as on its own, it makes your hair feel quite dry and knotty- Expensive

Oh wow!!

This is mr first experience using a bar shampoo and I have to say I’m hooked. The rosemary mint scent is so much better than any synthetic shampoo I thought I loved. It lathers nicely and rinses well. Using the bar conditioner with this has made my hair feel softer and healthier. This has to be one of my top items to review this fall.We don’t use the tins they came in but I would if we were travelling somewhere for vacation.
